A Montreal based initiative.
Project Sahaara is a Montréal based initiative to create awareness and raise money towards the fight against Parkinson’s Disease. All proceeds are donated to the Michael J Fox Foundation (MJFF), which is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease (PD) through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensure the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.
The Project Sahaara initiative is currently in the process of expansion, with new team members to be added throughout 2016.
When a new team member is added, his or her profile will be added to the team page, where you may learn about the individual member’s background and motivation for joining Project Sahaara.

We believe that the cure to Parkinson's will be found in our lifetime
The overarching guiding principle for this initiative is to bring together people from all walks of life and encourage interaction in an intimate and caring environment. People are encouraged to contribute to events in any form that is within their capacity. The spectrum of contribution encompasses everything and anything that represents an outlet for artistic expression, including music, dance, poetry, and literature. A monetary contribution, the full amount of which is donated to the MJFF, is provided by attendees and other contributors.
PROJECT SAHAARA's main objective is to raise funds and increase awareness to fight PARKINSON'S DISEASE.
